Post by: thatonekid on May 25, 2011, 08:21:11 PM
I know this has been done more times than any one cares to count but please bear with me, current and former cadets please answer the first 4, seniors and cadets please answer the last 2.
1) How did you find CAP?
2) What made you want to join CAP?
3) What do you like about CAP?
4) What do you not like about CAP?
5) How do you think we can most efficiently advertise?
6) Where do you think we can most efficiently advertise?
I would like to thank you all in advance for being civil and staying on topic.

Edit: Topics numbered, number 5 changed into 2 different questions, question clarified.

1. Air Force Academy's recruiting/admissions website- "consider getting involved in something like scouting, Civil Air Patrol"
2. Military-style training, learning about aerospace stuff, leadership training
3. It's fun no matter your grade, there's very many different activities one can do
4. Nothing about the organization itself...  yet
5/6.INTERNET, i.e. ads on the side of military-type online stores, aerospace-type websites, etc. Middle school/High school job fairs, activity fairs

1) I want to go to to either Air Force Academy or Annapolis, and saw something about CAP on the AFA website.
2) I was interested in the military aspect (i.e. drill, pt, etc) and being around like-minded people.
3) I still enjoy the aspects of CAP that made me join in the first place.
4) I definitely don't like that every year CAP becomes more and more politically correct, not as hard-core, and in general, less like it has been.
5) I think colorguard events are one of the best things to do to advertize.
6) Any event that a colorguard performs at.
