After a 5 year mission of figuring out the who, what, where, and when of local training opportunities, I have finally completed my 2013 goal of getting ICS-300/ICS-400 done.
This makes me the second person in my squadron to do this.
My new goal: Take my knowledge of where training is available and get 2 more people minimum in my squadron to get ICS-400 in the next 18 months, and send awareness letters to all the local squadrons on how to do the same.
This really shouldn't have taken me this long, but at least now I have the documentation and no one else has to go through the same research that I did in my area.
Congrats - that can be a real uphill climb in some areas, both the access and then finding the time.
