I received a call this evening that is the kind that every commander wishes is on the other line each time it rings.

I have 3 cadets that through partnership and mutual motivation have received their Mitchell Awards on the same night.  I am working on appropriate presenter(s) but I hope that this will receive some good publicity.  I can't see this type of thing happening all that often.

Congratulations Cadet 2 Lt's Livingston, Leighton, and Otto

Side note- just before I left my squadron to move to group I appointed the 3 cadets in question as the cadet commander, cadet XO, and First Sergeant.  They then made it their goal to not leave each other behind, they have since passed every achievement with high marks on the first try.  So I am particularly proud of these 3 cadets.

Congrats to that Cadets for their achievements!! It's nice to see this kind of team work. Now how can we get everyone to work together like this? :D

It's nice when the rewarding stuff like that comes about.

Nice job to all of them.  But looks like the squadron just lost a first sergeant.

^No worries, they were taught from an early age to train their replacements

I've actually had 3 cadets pass the mitchell at the same time when I've been with 2 different squadrons.  I've also had 2 cadets pass it each of the last 3 months.  It happens more than one would think, which is a good thing.  It shows that our cadets are learning work togethor towards advancement.

Always a good thing.  Congratulations!.
