A Military Lensatic Compass will fit, a little loose in the pouch, won't fall out
the side with the flap snapped. I would paracord it to your gear.

Military Strobe Light will just fit, not loose at all in pouch.

Garmin e-Trex will just fit, not loose at all in pouch.  Put the screen toward
your body or away from the snap.  The snap closure is quite strong(it is supposed to hold a grenade in place), so when you try to snap it closed
you are pushing right on the screen of the GPS!!!

The single pistol magazine pouches will hold a large folding pocket knife,
a little loose, it won't fall out of the pouch with the flap snapped.
The single pistol magazine pouches will hold a large Leatherman, again a
little loose, it won't fall out if the flap is snapped.

The 100 round SAW pouches hold the plastic inserts to the older individual
first aid kits perfectly.  I use one for the first aid kit and another for my
survival kit/accessory pocket.
I have the R.A.C.K. very comfortable

Which ones come in high-visibility colors?   ;D

Always Ready

Good post. I was needing this info for my next purchase. I plan on buying the R.A.C.K. (the cheap Tru-spec version) and was trying to figure out which pouches I should invest in. You helped me out a lot.

Thanks
