Title: Civil Air Patrol Instagram?
Post by: jfkspotting on May 30, 2017, 11:19:11 PM
Why does the CAP Instagram post so little content and so few times? They have a goldmine and should post more to motivate more members and simply more wing activities. They usually post once a month or so. Wouldn't his be a great recruiting tool? But it is purposeless and relatively unused.

Also, why does AR-115th comp have more followers athan National HQ instagram? I know they are the squadron of distinction, but so what?

For the younger people, Instagram could be a very useful tool for recruiting. But not exactly so under the hands of the current team that barely maintain it.

Social Media for a local organization (Squadron) is better suited as 'local' Facebook and Insta pages in my opinion.

Photos of 'local' activities ... seeing folks and locations they recognize ... etc., etc. ... is much better marketing than some national 'one size fits all' campaign.
