Cadet Airman Aaron J. Charnick
Wing Headquarters Squadron
Virginia Wing

Aaron Jacob Charnick age 14 of Gloucester County died on Friday, October 13, 2023. He was a young man full of life with a bright future. He had a passion for joining the military and becoming a firefighter. He loved the outside. Fishing and camping and going to the beach with his dad. He enjoyed helping his mommy with yard work, shopping and just hanging out and talking. He admired his brother Brandon, and because of his military background and the uniforms, he would pretend he was his brother dressed up in the uniforms. He loved being out on the water with his brother Casey where he learned how to crab. He spent a lot of days hanging in the garage listening to music and talking whatever with Casey. His sister Brianna was his go-to when he wanted to talk about girls. He spent a lot of time playing video games with his little brother, Jason, and little sister Kylee. He would come to his stepdad Joshua when he wanted to talk about work, and life and to make crazy bets. He was bright, loving, and always had a smile on his face. He was also always willing to help anyone out no matter what. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Stanley and Janet West. He leaves behind his loving parents, Kemp Charnick, and Jennifer Charnick; Brothers Brandon Charnick, Casey Charnick, and Jason Shearin; Sisters Brianna Charnick and Kylee Shearin; Stepfather Joshua Shearin, niece Leah, and nephew Blake, along with lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
