Do you think CAP should have new or used(but in good work order) technology for  Emergency Services & Operations?

What kind of technology? This is pretty vague.

Laser designators would be cool if we had cas to rely on.

I want my x-wing.
A-wings are better, but I'd take a TIE defender over everything.

I'd debate the a-wing. The TIE Defender, agree with, I will.

Faster, more manueverable, better shield, better weapons, and weapons that can rotate vertically. I think the A-wing wins. The A-wing was designed to replace the X-wing. The B-wing to replace the Y-wing.

And of course the E-wing that was supposed to match the X-wing, but have updated features.

A stealth-X might be able to take an A-wing. Other than that, no.

The Y-wing or Imperial Shuttle is probably better for SAR work - flight speeds are slower and they have longer range.  Plus the A-wing and most TIEs are single man fighters.

In the CAP world, I think we have all the tech we need.  I'd like everyone to have a $500 squadron camera because one the airplane is in place 90% of great pictures is about the camera, but it's impractical.  I'd like us to have a half dozen airplanes on the ramp so that a squadron really could put up five or six airplanes at a time, but that also isn't practical.
