AAFES and LRS uniform distro to CAP

Our unit will receive 70 boxes of ABU items from AAFES tomorrow. This is in response to the AF memo that allows AF organizations to transfer their ABU pattern uniform items to CAP. Our unit also received a large amount of items from the base Logistics Readiness Squadron stocks.

I know many wings are coordinating with AAFES and other AF organizations for distro of ABU items but I wanted to send pictures to show that it is actually happening!

As a side note, and not the main purpose of this post, the AF also has thousands of pairs of sage green boots that are availableSAF MR SIGNED RELEASE OF ABUs 2020.pdfAAFES ABU tranfer.pdf.

Is there a form or process for making a request for these items?

The OP is also in an Overseas Squadron. The relationship between the Exchange and the local CAP unit on base is usually much closer because everybody in the unit is either a member of the military or a military dependent.
