You're just afraid that I'll get Level IV before you. >:D

Well, yes.  After I heard you were already up for level III, I figured I need to get moving.

Are you going to MER Staff College next year?

Awesome response. I'm glad to see everyone has an interest in doing a little bit of everything rather than just sitting on the seat of their flight suits!

Well, I am the Professional Development Officer.  How can I tell people they should take the training if I haven't aggressively pursued it myself?  I've also been lucky enough to have the classes offered at good times for me.

That said, I'll have to see how the scheduling works for next years RSC.  I will have to take a week off from work to do that.  If I don't take it next year, I certainly will the following year.

Besides, even if I did manage to get Level IV before you (pretty unlikely), you could easily get Level V before me.  I will be at least five years before I even qualify to take NSC (need to be a Major), whereas you could take it at any time. :)

For those of you who have multiple ratings, what insignia do you wear on your blues? Are there other spots for specialty track badges besides the left pocket?

MIKE

The right pocket... Or above the nametag on service dress.

I don't like to look like a 3rd world dictator so I only wear the specialty badge for what I'm currently doing (or if dual role, which takes more time).

So if my job is "leadership officer" I wear my CP badge.

If I am switched to being the "logistics officer," I only wear the logistics badge.

That's the way I do it, I think they look funny on the right side...

I only wear one badge. My senior communicator badge. Then again, I wear the corporate uniform.

Hoooo kay

Cadets: Tech (want Senior)
Admin: Tech (want Senior)
ES: Tech
Personnel: Senior (want Master)
Declared: Professional Development

Im Deputy of Cadets, Admin and Personnel Officer, Test Control Officer, and Finance Officer.

As for wear, the Seniors in my unit follow AF custom and dont wear any ST badges or ribbons on our Blues. (Though I do wear my GT and EMT badges)

Upon reflection, I should probably get at least a Tech in Finance but dont have the time.

Off topic: One or the other, but not both.  With CAP insignia it must be a specialty badge and aviation badge combo... There is no provision for wear of two specialty insignia.

I rotate wear, kudos for pointing it out though.

Here is mine:

Cadet Programs: Master
Professional Development: Master
Public Affairs: Technician
Finance: Master
Aerospace Education: Technician
Safety: Technician
Personnel: Master
Administration: Master
Emergency Services: None, will have Technician this coming February (Incubator time)
Communications: Technician

I plan on getting my Safey and Aerospace Education ratings to Master, while getting my Communication and Emergency Services ratings to Senior. I doubt I will be able to make Master in ES or Comm.

I don't wear any, I don't like the way they look really. I just wear my wings and paramedic badge.
