Has any squadron planned a ski trip for cadets? Are there any special procedures that need to be observed (besides the regular ones – forms, cadet protection, higher echelon permission, etc)?

How are you talking like as a civil air patrol function or something to do with the kids (cadets) off of civil air patrol time.

Nothing in CAPR 52-16 indicates anything specifically for ski trips.  Take the usual set-up for a CAP cadet function... get permission slips, notify higher echelon, have two senior members, designate the uniform of the day, arrange appropriate transporation, etc.

Have fun!  :)

One of the first things to do is contact the ski area you are looking at going to. Many offer discounted lift tickets and stuff for non-profit youth programs.
