Title: Minnesota Wing Historian Contact?
Post by: PhoenixRisen on July 18, 2019, 02:05:23 PM
Does anybody in (or familiar with) Minnesota Wing know who the Wing Historian is and have a way to contact them?

I had family in CAP back during WWII (originally posted about discovering that years ago here (http://captalk.net/index.php?topic=3969.msg76609#msg76609)) and a recent discussion on the Congressional Gold Medal brought that thought back up.

I know NHQ doesn't have records easily available, but I'm hoping there might be a chance at the wing level.

Thank you!

Disregard.  Per a reply from the squadron commander of the Saint Paul Composite Squadron -- there is no current Wing Historian and their records are very, very small due to multiple flooding incidents over the years at MNWG HQ.  No squadron records either.
