Our squadron was digging out fire hydrants all weekend for the city of Oswego.  Guess we made the BBC!     Thanks for the link!

Haha... I knew somebody would point out that little gem.   

Every one of my troops out there, including cadets had an Extreme Cold Weather parka.  Sorry, but when you're in a state of emergency and 7ft of snow-type blizzard the M-65 field jacket doesn't cut it for warmth and protection.  The N3B parka is a real uniform item, with USAF cert numbers, and in such a situation I'm sure nobody would be complaining that we were protecting ourselves from the nasty elements in the most uniform way possible.
