I'm a former CAP senior member -- I was in from around 1977 to 1985.   

I don't know that CAP members often hear this, but I want to thank you all for your service.  You are out there educating our kids, and serving those most in need during emergencies.  The only pay that you receive is the knowledge that you have in some way made a difference.  And I say that you definitely have.
