I've been in CAP 10 years and currently finishing out my term as squadron CC. In August I was diagnosed with cancer. I had surgery then to remove the tumor, but the cancer has spread to a lymph node in my abdomen and I'm currently undergoing 9-weeks of chemo therapy. In fact I'm posting this from the infusion chair right now.

Outside of CAP, I'm a commercial photographer. Working for myself, I have no sick leave or paid time off. During surgery recovery and chemo, I've not been able to do any work. When it's all done, it'll have been 11-12 weeks total without me being able to earn a paycheck for my family.

My son started a Go Fund Me campaign to raise money to keep our family afloat during this time. I'd deeply appreciate any help from the CAP community. Evey little bit helps.
