Title: Air Force Choice of Small Drones
Post by: etodd on August 28, 2019, 07:13:45 PM
The AF has bought a number of the InstantEye Mk-2 Systems.

QuoteThe InstantEye Mk-2 aircraft does not store any data onboard, and therefore, there is no data at risk if the aircraft is lost. The InstantEye Mk-2 GEN4-A0 utilizes a hybrid communication system with encrypted, digital link for C2 and an analog video link.

You just might see CAP sUAS Mission Pilots using these for actual missions soon.

CAP sUAS ... ready for prime time. (At least in a small way for now.)

You're going on the manufacturers sales sheet as a "trusted" source of info?
I've got a bridge I'd like to sell ya!

I like bridges, but I'm really in the market for some land in central Florida....

Is InstantEye a division of TigerStrike?

Some of you folks just tickle me. So predictable in your responses.

That was just a teaser.

I'll wait and report back "after" a mission these units "might" happen to be used on soon ... lest some of you folks go yelling OPSEC at me. ;)

I'm sure we'll be on the edge of our seats. Until then, some of us have actual FEMA taskings to attend to.
