Since we're discussing barfing in flight, here's what to bring - a one quart Ziploc bag, with two paper towels in it. When you need to use the bag, remove one towel, and leave the other one in the bag. After "using" the bag, the towel in the bag will help minimize spillage, and you can use the other one to wipe your mouth/face. I usually carry two - one for me, and a spare for someone else.

And, there's really no shame in using the bag. Really.

Also, do we receive parachutes?  ???

No.

In the event of an in-flight emergency, open the door, step out and start flapping your arms.
Still a major after all these years.

Make sure to eat before you go! A lot of first time flyers don't eat beforehand, thinking that they might get sick. In actuality, an empty stomach will make you sicker! So grab a bite to eat first.

The Pilot follows the AE syllabus so if it's flight one be up on what's in that syllabus. Your squadron should be able to provide that.
