Sitting around getting bored I went to the website www.archive.org and in the search bar entered Civil Air Patrol. Well there went a couple hours I'll not be getting back. Among the gems they have (available for downloading) are:
*The entire Civil Air Program including regulations, uniforms, procedures, aircraft, etc. in one neat book. Oh, it's dated 1949 but still an interesting look back to where CAP was.
* The "Official" CAP Song in both instrumental and vocal versions.
* An interesting 20 minute film "Wings over the A Bomb" narrated by actor Tyronne Power as he discussed the CAP role following a nuclear event.
* lots of photos, papers, activity books, etc.
I know this is an old thread, but I tried looking for the tyronne power video without success. Link ?
