Hello I was just appointed a group safety officer and wanted to just find some information.  Nothing in particular, just wanted to see if any wings or regions has a good list of resources or guides for the safety officer position.  Have looked at nationals safety page it was informative, but just wanted to see how much other information might be out there.  Thanks.

Check out AOPA & ASF, they've got tons of good stuff.
The Darwin Awards is also a good site to pick up a few "lighter side" stories.

Try this site Redfox.  One of my master ratings is in Safety and have done it at the Wing level before becoming lowly squadron cc again!
