I've been struggling to get a few things singed off for GTM-3 as I work my way back up the Ground Team food chain.

Note: Lesson learned, if you're gonna take a break, try to at least participate enough to maintain quals. It's a PITA to work your way back up if you're not in an area that's active in ES.

I'm in the Dayton area and willing to drive a few hours if someone has a SAREX happening on dates that work with my schedule. Heck, I'll be in Knoxville in a couple weeks and willing to take a few hours off from vacation to go get some things signed off.

I'm heading to NESA for GTL and while I'll definitely be able to get GTM-3 signed off by then locally (a prerequisite), I'd like a few extra sorties for good measure.  I've been a GTM/GTL/GBD for almost 3 decades except for the last couple years when I let it expire.

Anyone within 2 to 3 hours from the Dayton area with a SAREX planned in the near future?

ILWG is having an Eval next weekend and has been actively seeking GTMs.

There will be a fair number of NESA people there I would imagine.

With that said, that'd a fair drive for a sortie or two, since most of the OPS are going to be
in the more Northern areas and also WIWG.

I'd actually consider it, but we've got our Squadron awards banquet Saturday evening. Got that mess dress now, I gotta wear it.

Decisions, decisions...

Already paid for 4 of us. The decision has been made. But I'd love an out of state SAREX.

26-28 April, MIWG Operation Wolverine.  Lenawee County Airport in Adrian, MI (probably less than 20 miles north of the Ohio border).
Operation Wolverine is an entirely cadet run (senior supervised) SAREX.  Camping available on site, few hotels nearby.

I'll take a look at that one. Can you provide a POC so I can get an OPORD or at least some info?
