Title: Annual Wing Histories
Post by: RiverAux on August 16, 2008, 07:14:08 PM
I am curious as to whether any Wings are actually producing annual Wing history reports and if so, are they available on the wing web site.  CAP actually has a pretty detailed format and a good example on how to do this (CAPP-5).

I haven't seen one in a while, and I haven't ever been one for the wing site.

I have one that was done by Lt.Col Todd Engelman of GAWG that is pretty good. I will try to find it and post.

IL is gathering the info currently, not news on progress in a while

I do wonder if the very rigid and detailed structure that is supposed to be used for these annual histories might discourage some from trying to produce them.  In particular, the requirement to include copies of all supporting documents.

Was looking for something else and came across this archive of Alaska wing annual reports.  Probably some cool stuff in there... http://www.akwg.cap.gov/staff/HO/annual/annual.htm
