Congrats on reaching thirty thousand posts.

They grow up so fast, don't they?

I only wish pretty much anything about CAP was substantially different then when I hit 10 or 20k.

So if the average post was just 60 seconds , that would be 500 hours of your life just typing responses. Doesn't include your time reading posts by others. That's a good chunk of your lifetime dedicated to CAPTalk. I don't know if I should congratulate you or feel sorry for you.

Of course the above doesn't account for CadetStuff, AllMilitary, and Military forums,
where a number of us spent time discussing the same topics as here.

Since I don't waste any time with TwitBook, etc., I'll put that time up against
most people's "social" media use. 500 hours over the course of nearly 14 years isn't really
that big of a deal.

I don't think we ever determined how the online time is calc'ed.   A lot of those "hours"
are likely an open / forgotten browser tab on a machine in the other room, etc.

And the time reading/answering personal messages? How do we count those?

Thank you, by the way, for answering mine!

Social media is an addictive vacuum thats sucks people in.  I can't criticize, as I find myself checking my phone way too often during a day. One of those things that can be used for good, but 90% of the time destroys one's productivity. :(

That's where self discipline comes in.
