Heartbleed...?

Errr, NHQ is warning us about an "open SSL Heartbleed..."
But they neglected to inform us what is that. Is that a virus? A Trojan? Or what? Security leak...?

I can guess about what this is, using the office where it came from, IT. But I would appreciate more info...

It's a bug in the way encryption keys are handled on web sites.

I would have been surprised if NHQ >was< affected as it's in open-source implementations
of SSL and the government doesn't use those.

I said NEWS.    CNN, Fox and CNBC aren't news channels anymore, they're entertainment channels.
