Title: Ae current events
Post by: notaNCO forever on July 05, 2009, 09:06:39 PM
I was wondering if anyone knows any good sites for aerospace current events. While I'm not an AE fanatic I still find aerospace fascinating and would like to know if anyone has any good websites they go to.

Space.com (http://www.space.com) is a good one. Besides that, I usually check CNN (http://www.cnn.com), af.mil (http://www.af.mil), and NASA (http://www.nasa.gov) before I chose which current event to present to my cadets. Between those four, you should have a pretty good idea of what is going on in the aerospace world.

You may want to check out joining the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (http://aiaa.org/content.cfm?pageid=180#STUDENT) as well. For about $20 a year, you get two magazines a month that have all sorts of articles about what's going on and the future of aerospace. Which reminds me...I think it's time to renew my membership :-\
