Title: Is there a way to find out what CAP ribbons that you have earned?
Post by: c5engr on November 24, 2018, 04:32:15 PM
Greetings.
No shave November has got me thinking about wearing a corporate uniform. I typically wear USAF
blues combinations. I am retired USAF, so I wear my service ribbons, plus 3 of my highest CAP ribbons.

My question is: Is there a way to find out what CAP ribbons I have earned? In the USAF, we got a "RIP" sheet that had award and decs info. Do I just go through my certificates and choose? I have been a DAE, SQCC, and have CC commendations.

Thanks for your input!

Bob

Some might be in eServices, otherwise you'd need to review your personnel file.

Don't be surprised is a few more are added to the mix upon review (RSR, etc).

In my experience, seems it's up to the individual to keep track of of their ribbond/awards and such, save some things like the AFOE and membership ribbon which are listed on E-services.. I always tell members to keep paperwork in triplicate. 1 hard file at the Squadron, 1 home hard file and 1 persnnal electronic file.
