Ladies and Gentlemen and friends;
We have a Story on the "Cap News Now" website beginning today. I wrote it. Lt. Col. Mark Hess of the Georgia Wing researched it.

It is about a cadet in Queens NY in the 60's and what he learned from CAP that carries through to today. Click here:

For those of you in cadet services I think this is a rather remarkable story. For those of you that think CAP saves lives only
by rescue, this may give you another idea. Sometimes salvation comes through lessons taught, learned, and applied through
out a lifetime...
Titled: The Drill Master; Life, one step at a time.

I trust that you will find it inspiring. Pass it along if you like.

Thanks Kelso! If the story is inspiring - then you must realize that the man the story is about is even more inspiring. Some days this is a tough job. However, some days it rings like crystal, rains like heaven sent manna, and fills you like your granddaughter's dearest kiss.

I am lucky to find such a character to write about once in a thousand days.
