Since CAP has become part of the joint USAF, USAFR, and ANG, has the SOCAF mandate vaccines  for cadets and seniors?

Some Squadrons that meet on military facilities, and activities held on military facilities, have had to have mandates to follow the protocol for those facilities, but as far as organization wide, no such mandate exists sir.

 Wonderfully loaded question.

 1) CAP isn't "part of the joint USAF, USAFR, and ANG."  If you are referring to the Total Force inclusion, you might also want to know that CAP is really only a member of the Total Force when participating in an Air Force-assigned mission.  The "SOCAF" (I think you mean "SECAF" here, not "Special Operations Command-Air Force"?) has no more real authority at the moment to mandate vaccination among CAP members as they do to somehow deploy CAP members to a combat zone (ie. they do not) or send them on a "short tour" overseas.

 2) The DoD "protocol" for official visitors to DoD facilities is either/or: Either be vaccinated (with proof), or be able to show proof of a negative test within 72 hrs. There is no hard and fast requirement for CAP members to be vaccinated to attend a CAP meeting the local AFB, for example.  As a practical matter, getting your optic nerve tickled once a week for CAP doesn't sound like a ton of fun, either.

 There is some question as to how National Guard facilities are handled (ie. does the state have the ability to adjust that mandate?) and many CAP units meet at Guard facilities. So that's kind of up in the air at the moment

 3) This can be a fairly charged subject among members.  The mods are paying close attention to this thread. Lets stay constructive and avoid skidding off the road into conspiracy theories. We have guidance from our national leadership on how to meet the COVID situation. Lets stick to that.
