Title: WMIRS and Instructor Pilots
Post by: etodd on June 27, 2021, 12:15:50 AM
As a CFI, teaching a Cadet, I'm the PIC of the sortie, of course.

In WMIRS, in the Pilot Summary Report, the Cadet gets the hours under C Missions. The CFI does not. In the FAA world of log book entries I put down PIC time while acting as CFI. Just curious why its not considered in WMIRS? (Maybe it just tracks who is listed left seat?)

It is, however, tracked separately. In the Mission Participation report, as Instructor, the hours do show there. But not in the Pilot Summary report.

Just thought it was odd. IDK
