For our BDU combat boots, What are some ways we can lace them? Or do we have to keep the standard lacing they come with? I'm a new cadet wondering about the rules and regulations on this topic. All answers are appreciated. Thank you.

While I've never seen anything in writing, the standard lacing method is preferred. Why do you think they call it a uniform?  ;)

Lace it so that when you are first putting in the laces you put them in from the outside, and not from the inside out. So your beginning lace makes a bar. It is good and practical. Good because a lot of people do it this way and practical because the lace can be cut off if need be (like if you break something in your leg or foot)
