hey, all, I wrote this after Cascade Falcon XXIII because there were some sea cadets at the camp too. lots of people said it was too disrespectful to do at a CAP event.  :(

We Cadets of CAP
testify to all we see;
sea cadets are wee cadets,
weakest of them all

To the air force we will go,
flying airplanes bombs will blow,
but the sea cadets will go
to their bathtub boats.

When you watch sea cadets drill
you will see no flight at all,
cause they'll still be in their beds
there, they will be till noon

when they finally wake up
sea cadets will eat their lunch,
afterward one will take food
into formation.

We cadets of CAP
testify to all we see;
sea cadets are wee cadets
that is plain to see

that fourth stanza actually happened... the staff weren't very happy  ;D

In this PC, overly sensitive age, your best bet is to stick with the approved Jodies.

If (out of respect for sister youth programs) you were told not to sing it at your encampment and now you post it to the internet... Don't be surprised if you don't get selected for future activities when those staff officers see your derisive post.

I'll just nip this right in the bud.

This isn't really the time or place for that sort of thing. I know you're exuberant, but barracks jodies aren't exactly CAP-Talk funsies.
