I was just looking over the requirements for the Cyber Badge...
https://www.gocivilairpatrol.com/media/cms/CAPP_6041_F9333F40340B7.pdf
Authorized wear of the badge is 1 October and it is already available on Vanguard.
It says the cadets have to complete the lessons in the CAP Introduction to Cyber Security Activity Guide but I can't seem to find that.
I found this...
https://www.gocivilairpatrol.com/programs/cadets/activities/cyber
But the link to the "PDF Activity Guide" doesn't link you to that, it links to a rather generic page with more links.
Does anyone have a link to the Activity Guide? Thanks in advance.
I should add, the 1 October date came from this:
https://vimeo.com/291165226
Fast forward to 35:30.
Last I checked this was a still a "planned" program, and of course CDTA is now on..."hiatus", so ...
The National Conference presentation made it seem like it was ready to roll.
The badge is available...

Although, one of the requirements for the intermediate badge is...
4. Successfully complete the Cyber Defense Training Academy, Cyberspace Familiarization Course

I'm guessing the rug was pulled out when CDTA quit their involvement with CAP. Maybe that guide was part of the "any use of our materials is punishable under U.S. law" threat.

It's the link at the very bottom of https://www.gocivilairpatrol.com/programs/cadets/activities/cyber.
I saw that and didn't think it could possibly be the current one.
[whine and complain]
It's dated 2012, and references Win 7 and XP screen shots, Col Skinner is now "Maj Gen Skinner" (congrats!),
Keith Alexander and Kevin Wooten both retired several years ago,
the attacks cited were old or even ancient by internet standards before it was published.
Also, owing to the era it was actually drafted, social commercial media is barely even mentioned,
despite it being a significant vector of attacks today.
It contains ((*ick*)) commercials for AVG and ((*gag*)) McAfee's junkware, but no mention
of adblockers, and Windows Defender is just on a list with other AV software (because it wasn't really a thing 5+ years ago).
