The below announcement came out recently for the 2010 Tri-Wing (DC, DE, MD) Encampment.

We are pleased to announce that cadet and senior officer staff applications are now being accepted for the 2010 Tri-Wing Encampment, scheduled for July 19-25, 2010 at Camp Fretterd, MD.  Staff will report on the evening of the 18th.

Positions available for Cadets:

   -Squadron Commanders
   -Stan/Eval OIC and staff
   -Command Chief Master Sergeant
   -Squadron First Sergeants
   -Flight Commanders
   -Flight Sergeants
   -Admin OIC and staff
   -Plans and Programs Officer
   -Logistics OIC and staff
   -Public Affairs OIC and staff
   -Mess Operations OIC and staff
   -Health Services staff

Positions available for Senior Officers (applicants with part-time availability are encouraged to apply):

   -Tactical Officers
   -Health Services Officer and staff
   -Chaplain
   -Public Affairs Officer
   -Mission Support Staff
   -Admin/Finance Officer
   -Communications/Logistics Officer
   -Transportation Officer
   -Safety Officer
   -Mess Operations Officer

If you are interested in applying, please MAIL (do not send electronically) the following to:

Send the following items:

   -CAPF 31 with ALL original applicable signatures  (cadets outside of MD WG require Wing commanders signature)
   -Resume of CAP activities/qualifications
   -Letter of intent, stating your top three choices for position and why you think you should serve on staff
   -$125 check made payable to Civil Air Patrol - if you are not selected for a position, then the check will be returned to you.

ALL APPLICATIONS ARE DUE (POASTMARKED) BY 28 FEBRUARY 2010
Note: All cadet applicants must attend a required staff selection weekend.  The date is tentatively set for April 10.  Selected applicants will be required to attend staff training weekend, sometime in May or June.
