CAPR 35-1 Assignment and Duty Status - DRAFT.

Proposed only two ways to assign members to duty positions - Eservices and CAPF 2A (PA's may used in place of multiple CAPF 2A's). For positions listed in CAPR 20-1, CAPF 2A needs to be sent to National, who, presumably, will enter it in Eservices. For positions not in CAPR 20-1, CAPF 2A is kept locally.
Some confusion:
Quote from: CAPR35-1 DRAFTAs an option to the preparation of separate CAPFs 2a for each duty position assigned, duty assignment changes may be reflected in published personnel authorizations in accordance with CAPR 10-3, Administrative Authorizations.

Not sure if this applies to all staff assignments (for units not wanting to use the Duty Assignment function in Eservices) or just those not listed in CAPR 20-1.

PA's can still be used for committee assignments and specioal one-time duty assignments (encampment staff?).

Yes.....any non CAPR 20-1 can be done on a CAPF2A or a PA for multiple assignements.  You just keep them localy.

Why wouldn't you use that?

To me, the only thing of real note was the verbiage that establishes using eServices as the preferred method of appointment.

NEX UT PAPER!

This still doesn't seem to change the problem with LG and FM's that have to sign for assets.
