Former National Commander, Major General Dwight Wheless, CAP, has passed away.

Maj Gen Dwight Wheless was a gracious gentleman, a good friend, and a great mentor and servant-leader.   He will be missed.  "Blue skies and tail winds". my friend.

Below are the funeral arrangements for Maj Gen Wheless:

 

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5 , 2017, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Bryan Funeral Home at 162 L.A. Keiser Drive, Columbia, NC.   

The Funeral Service will be at 3:00pm the following day, Thursday, July 6  at the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church at 300 Ananias Dare St., Manteo, NC.

Immediately following the funeral, a short graveside service will be held at the Manteo Cemetery (walking distance from the church).
