Aerospace Education Calendar for 2015

I've been using an aerospace topics lists for AE topics. 

For meetings that don't include an AE class, I'm generally doing a short AE topic - current events or a relevant item for the date (these are generally less than 10 mins, like a short video).

These are the start of the calendar, so I wanted to share these.

That would be great for assigning to a NCO level cadet, to give them some public speaking experience.

Agreed.  We're going to have cadets do some of the topics.

I always appreciate additional items for it.

A couple that immediately come to mind are function and effect of control surfaces and the effect of aviation on the economy ( a STEM question and a Social Science question!)

There's a short video that just came out in the past few days showing the Elon Musk reusable rocket bouncing off the barge. Might be a good current events topic that leads to a discussion on how to control rockets LANDING. Control surfaces, and problems (like not enough hydraulic fluid for it...)
