You would have gotten the correct response which is " go through your Chain of Command" and ask in the following order: the Senior Member responsible for the Color Guard, who should get the information from either your Squadron Commander or Wing Cadet Programs Officer.

He has to learn how to communicate. If you coddle a "kid" as you say he will turn out into an irresponsible adult. Not knowing how to talk or write.

See it all the time.

Parents that say "he is a kid, let him." These are the ones running inside the classrooms, breaking pencils and throwing to others. Not doing the classwork. Saying "NO" when the teacher asks him / her to sit down. On and on and on!

The Cadet should have gone through his Chain for his answer. Some Wings can and may pay for Color Guard. Others cannot. Therefore go through the Chain for a local and official response.

As I would strongly ponder this cadet's ability to seriously complete a Color Guard season, as the demonstrated maturity level is simply less than what is required.

Posting the Colors is just one of the many things a Team does, and it's far from the hardest.

This is one of those questions best sent to the cadet's CoC and not here.  and if you will see the cadet's question was answered he just did not receive the answer he/she was looking for.  Is there sarcasm in the responses yes but if you look across this board there is sarcasm everywhere.  Mockery?  pretty sure if there was the mods would have taken note and addressed it to the violator/s.  To many times questions like these are posed here when they are best suited for the repsective unit and wg personnel.  Also many cadets will post looking for that quick answer instead of thoroughly looking for it.
