Considering the Ruskies and Chinese are test-fielding planes that are on par, if not more advanced than the F-22/35, it may be a wise idea to invest some resources into future fighter development. You know, in case SHTF.

The Sukhoi T-50? ^Negative. it is NOTHING like the F22.  It was pretty much all cosmetic. Old engines, old radar, old weapons systems.  It was made to "look" like an F-22.  Nothing more.  Thats coming from a couple USAF Intel officers and talking to current F-16 pilots I know on an almost daily basis who are not the slightest bit concerned about it.
