Did any else see this:
The Southeast Region needs to know what aircrews the GA Wing could supply for the Deep Water Horizon mission in the Gulf of Mexico, if needed. The mission will probably continue for months to come, so I need to know who may be available, for how long, and for what period. Please let me know ASAP. They would like a week at a time, if possible. You will not be obligate, at this time, if you think you could help out.  We just need some ballpark numbers.

What a great opportunity to get some flying in for Aircrew..

Nope, but if they need, they can work up the coast and I am off this summer :)  Would love to go support the effort.

My wife and I could do at least a week.  I'm a MP and she is a Senior Observer.  We have our own businesses and are flexible.

I know that you may have been instructed for GA to do this, but we need to have MS AL GA TN and FL doing the same thing.  This mission is likely to go on for the next three to four months.
