Post by: flyguy06 on June 09, 2006, 09:25:57 PM
Are there any units out there that conduct formal FAA Grund school classes to prepare Cadets for the FAA Private Pilot wiritten exam?

What aviation activities do other units do besides Orientation flights?

Oregon has a glider training program.  I almost earned my privet license, but the glider was destroyed one night in a freak wind storm.  we were doing it on the weekend, and while the cadets that were receiving training were not flying we would do o rides.
