Title: 2012 National Flight Academies
Post by: akandrews on September 30, 2012, 06:30:04 PM
Hi
I am trying to get a handle on the actual number of cadets that participated in Powered Flight Academies this past year.
I think there were 18 in Maine, and 24 in Nebraska, and 24 in Virginia.  Was there one in Wisconsin?  Any others?

Appreciate your assistance.

Oklahoma had around 28 cadets. Give or take.

Thanks for your reply.  I did call HQ and found out that the total for all National Flight Academies 2012 was 112 cadets, just in case that is useful to anyone else

That number from NHQ seems pretty low.

Most academies, I would think, would have at least half that number total.

Hmm... Well, if there are around 5 to 6 NFA's and each has around 20 cadets. That sounds about right to me.
