USAF in Southern Border Ops!?

Carrales, New Mexico- The USAF denied allegations that there are any Southern Border Operations currently being conducted and were unable to explain a recent USAF uniform combination already under consideration...

It looks like some Officer's Club just got a new case of Jeremiah Weed.  A couple more shots and they'll be dancing on those hats!

Since TP was from cuba, does this mean the blue beret will be replaced by the blue sombrero?

Sacrilege! The sombrero's a native of Mexico... not of Cuban origin! Don't give 'em any ideas to bring back the dreaded guayabera shirt uniform!  ;D

I had almost forgotten the guayabera.  How on earth did these things ever make in into our uniform inventory?  In South Texas we call them "Barber Shirts" since many local barbers dawn them for their trade.  Anyone have any pics of a CAP version?

Nichts mich, Maj. C. - all I know is that the CAP guayabera uniform was dark blue with gray trousers. Don't get me wrong; the guayabera shirt is comfortable wear in hot weather, but should never have been a uniform.

Easy now, some of us are still trying to... ;)

I (unfortunately) remember the early, navy blue version and the later, white version.

If anyone has one of these in a Size 16, I may buy it to add to other oddities I have collected. (or give it to my brother who likes to wear that sort of stuff)
