Would it be appropriate to wear a unifrom to memorials? ???

Could you be more specific? Are you referring to funeral services? If so, is the deceased a former member of CAP, the military, etc? If it's one of those, I say go for it, but make sure to pass it up your chain of command. The final say on these things usually rests with the Squadron Commander.

I got married in my service dress, but I did check it with my Squadron CC first.

One of my squadrons had a member pass away; he was buried in his aviator G/W and of course we all went to the funeral in service dress (or equivalent).
