single lined buttoned all weather coat

I picked up an older AF all weather coat, inside tag reads "BLUE AF 1600" COAT, ALL WEATHER, 50% Polyester & 50% Cotton, it is single lined buttoned version.   

The pictures on 39-1 show a double breasted button all weather coat.  Do I have an older style all weather coat that is no longer authorized?

The single-breasted version is obsolete.  It was on the phase-out page in the back of the 1997 CAPM 39-1.

Oh well, its still in great shape, makes for a good civilian trench coat.  Got it for free so no big deal.

I still have mine from my brief active duty USAF career in 1981.  I think its the only piece of uniform I still have.  I live in the desert where it essentially doesn't rain or get cold so it isn't wearing out very quickly
