Looking for 2nd Lt Ultramarine Blue Cloth Insignia. Need 2 pairs.

Thank you.

Senior member or cadet? Why not just get the new dark blue stuff? It might be a little more expensive, but it's a pay now or pay later situation, and updating later might cost more.

I have to agree here. I think you're better off getting the dark blue items now rather than getting the aquamarine, which you'll have to swap out eventually anyway.

"Later" is still ~3 years away, which exceeds the CAP membership of many people.

I just put together a new set of CFUs with dark blue tapes and insignia, but I'm certainly
not going to rip / replace the uniform I have with ultramarine stuff on it, and someone getting
promoted, especially a cadet, shouldn't be expected to drop ~$$! "because".

Same goes with adding a CC badge, or a new rating, etc.

A full rip / replace could be $30-40 bucks if you don't sew.

FWIW I keep meaning to post the extra ultra stuff I have on here.

If you're a cadet, I have some extra ultramarine C/2d Lt and C/1st Lt insignia.

PHall

The new dark blue insignia look a LOT better then the Ultramarine on any uniform it's on. BDU's, BBDU's and ABU's.
It's worth making the change.

Eclipse

They do look better, but not $30-40 bucks, better, especially for a growing cadet
who is likely to be out of the garment in a year.

Change color the next time you need a new uniform.

Cadet turning Senior so yes, looking for Senior 2nd Lt Ranks.

Ill just try to wear my beloved BDUs until they phase out. I have too many qual badges where I don't wanna start over and replace them.

No I'm not touching ABUs. Ill join the BBDU gang when I'm done with my BDUs  :'( :'(

Out of curiosity, why don't you want to wear the ABUs?

Easier to deal with
More options
Less chance of change by NHQ
I think they look better with the new dark blue and black boots

I prefer to wear the BBDUs over the ABUs and well corporate over usaf.

Warning, Purely Anecdotal Data Ahead:  For most of the people I've encountered who don't wan't to go ABU, the answer why is "Black Boots."

As someone who has worn the green boots they look no better or worse then the black boots.
And the black boots are actually easier to take care of.
Once you get a stain on the green boots it's there forever.

I don't make the news, I just report it.  For the record, I wear both the BBDUs and the ABUs, as appropriate.

As do I, it's fun to keep them guessing!

BBDUs fit the mission better sometimes when working with LE customers, etc., and of course they're always handy when I can't find a razor or when I've found far too many cheeseburgers.

This has been my experience as well.

I will check our rank box when I go to our meeting tonight...we might have a couple of Senior Member 2d Lt ranks about.

I actually considered getting a set of BBDUs and the Corporate uniform (blue polo with grey tac pants and boots).

The new "tactical" blue polo (it's actually a Propper brand I.C.E. polo shirt) is really sharp.  Great improvement over the old cotton knit lint trap version.

Correction:  It's actually some other brand, but it looks pretty much like the Propper I.C.E..

That's what we wear at work, although in grey
