Joe Anderson Jacks, 82, passed away on May 2, 2020 in his home. He was born on October 8, 1937 in Osceola, Ark., to the late John Ervin and Opal (Anderson) Jacks.

Joe loved airplanes and was a member of CAP. He would attend the meetings and mentor the young members when he could. Joe also enjoyed bowling, eating chocolate and spending time with his beloved dog, Brandi, until she passed three years ago.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, J.E. Jacks and sister, Mary Kathryn Hill.

Joe is survived by his son, Steve Jacks and wife, Jeanne of Texas; daughters, Jo Anna Tallakson and husband, Kent of Bella Vista and Connie Trotter and husband, Terry of Pea Ridge; sister, Martha Anne Stoffle of Manila, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Amber Franks (Jared), Josie Jacks and Sophie Jacks; and two great-grandchildren, Talan and Colton. His graveside service will be Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 11 at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola, Ark.
