Hello, Ladies and Gentleman. I am Senior Member John C Ford of the SWR-OK-074 Composite Squadron, Norman, Oklahoma. I'm a 24 hr student pilot of Crabtree Aviation based at KGOK and have enjoyed my time very much at the squadron. My Duty assignment is the Assistant Professional Development Officer. Is there anyone else from Oklahoma that is a regular here at CAP Talk? Give me a shout!

Have a Merry Christmas.

SM John C. Ford
Assistant Professional Development Officer
SWR-OK-074

Hello, Mr. Ford.

I am also from OKWG. Edmond Composite Squadron OK-002.

I know a few members from you Sqd. including McHale and the Arnold's.
They have a great Sqd. and welcome to CAPTalk!

C/Lt Col Mason Huston
OK-002

Why thank you C/Lt Col Huston, I'm having a great time at the squadron. What airport is OK-002 based?

~J~

We meet at a Armory in Edmond. When the squadron was first started, we met at the airport in Guthrie, but soon moved to the Armory.
CAP is what you make of it. If you don't put anything in to it, you won't get anything out of it.

How about "I'm back?" Got my membership renewed as of today. Little over two year break and now I'm back with AL-087. Although I'm a SM again. :(

Welcome back, devil dog!  Just can't stay away from CAP, huh?

You know they can reinstate your former grade, right? It just takes paperwork.

How's it going?  I've been lurking for a while and figured I'd go ahead and set up an account.  I presume I have to post in here before I can post in other topics?

You don't HAVE to. It is just to introduce yourself.

Hi. I'm Andrew.

Prior cadet (NYWG), current AD Air Force officer, and now back into CAP (CAWG). Some from Central New York may remember me (and/or be able to decode some initials) and those who occupy Central/Northern California might just see me around. I've lurked around quite a bit and figured I'd stop creeping the forum and make my presence known.

See you around.

I've been a long time reader, but never got around to joining. I am a SMSgt who's hobby is doing Search and Rescue. Now that I've joined, I am excited to finally be able to add to the productive , and sometimes maybe not so much, conversation. haha

Silent Panther

Hello everyone,
I joined back in '10 during NBB, but forgot about this site until a few days ago. I was googling some stuff for CAP, and found the answer in a thread. Quick resume! I'm a C/2Lt  & the Cadet Commander of my squadron. I've attended ATA; NBB; & NFAP-NCR, where I earned my solo wings. Hopefully I can find answers to a lot of my questions here. Anyone from NM Wing, message me. Glad to be back!

LegacyAirman

Hello all; just joined the board. I'm a retired Air Force Reserve WC-130 Flight Engineer whose last assignment was CAP-USAF. I recently became an active member after a few years as a Patron following "retirement" (no pay until age 60).  :( I'm currently working on my Scanner qual and of course will follow-up with Observer. One day I'll finish my pilot's license.  I'll also will be in Comm with my background (ham/A.F. Civil Service electronics instructor) and the fact this area needs a unit with a comm emphasis (new squadron also).

Fearthehog

Hey everyone!

Just joined the forums, seems to be pretty active which I like. I want to be helpful in anyway I can. From Hemet-Ryan Composite Squadron 59. Hit me up if you need any help with anything. Hope to talk to you all soon.  ;)

As they used to say in the old minstrel shows, "You done come to the right place!"  Now whether the answers will make any actual sense or not ... well ...
