How do I access "Closed" missions on WMIRS?
I am trying to upload an SQTR for approval that I demonstrated on a mission from last month, but it appears no longer to be attached to an open mission number; our SAR training missions apparently close monthly. Is there some way to see closed missions as well, just to get that number? All I am seeing are "Open" and "Pending" missions.

Yeah, there's a separate Training Mission Number for each month.
Missions close monthly, but the whole fiscal year is generally accessible.
I believe you have to have one of certain base staff quals to see mission history.
When I was Wing DOS I could see 4 some years (the retention requirement), but am not seeing
that tab anymore.
I would suggest asking a GBD, AOBD, IC, or your wing OPS staff for the number.
In Current Missions, select Advanced Mission search, check the "Closed" mission status box. You can select other search criteria as well, if needed.

I always save my flight releases in an email folder.
Just to follow through - yes, the advanced search bore fruit for me here. I printed off the Form 104 for my own records, and will keep on top of that going forward just to save the combing through WMIRS.
