Persona non grata

A friend of mine in CAP told me that NHQ is working on a hot dog wagon that can be used for fundraisers.  Has any person here heard any thing.  He stated that VANGUARD was donating the wagon/trailer.  Sound like a good fundraiser activity , but not for the northern states in the winter.  Would CAP need some sort of health permit to do this?  In HS we had a hard enough time getting permission to sell snow cones at the county fair.

Thanks

Ever go to NYC or Boston in the winter?  I can't really say that there's anything better than hitting up a street vendor selling italian sausage when it's -10.  ;D

Hot dog wagon? LOL.

FWIW, health permits are the problem of the operator. IE, the unit that would use it. Selling food for fundraising at events is such a pain in the ass anymore, you are better off just partnering with an existing vendor for a piece of the action. Like staff their booth in exchange for 10% or such. Permits change with city/county lines and even many times within them.

Wonder how the CAP Weiner-mobile does in zero to sixty? Bet it can't cut the mustard.

Will receiving units be required to pay for scheduled maintenance out of unit funds or will Wing or NHQ reimburse? Does said maintenance come out of any procedes that may come from the use of said wagon? What CAPF is forwarded to whom and what are the required signatures for use? How is transportation from one unit to the next handled? How is this thread still going?
