Cadet Executive Officer

What is the job of the Cadet Executive Officer? The Cadet Staff Handbook doesn't really do a good job of describing it.

According to CAPR 20-1:

• Manage cadet affairs
• Direct and supervise cadet staff
• Coordinate cadet staff activities
• Perform related duties as required

C/XO's are generally tasked with managing and overseeing cadet support functions, such as Supply, Admin, PA, etc. This duties are usually only found at large squadrons, and used extensively at encampment.

Would that position work the same at a Basic Cadet School? CAWG has a BCS manual but that position is not included in the position descriptions.

For a BCS yes it would be the same.  Having staffed and planned a couple of BCS it's the same duty.
