Ms. Alexis Marie Sluder, age 16 of Ellijay, passed away on Saturday, August 27th, 2022 at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton.

Alexis was born on September 18th, 2005 in Whitfield, County, the daughter of Shawn Ricky Curtis and Melanie Hogan Sluder. Alexis was a student at Gilmer High School and enjoyed playing softball and being in beauty pageants, where she always won "Prettiest Smile".

Alexis is preceded in death by her grandmother, Marie Mulkey.

Survivors include: Father and Step-Mother, Ricky and Jill Curtis; Mother, Melanie Hogan Sluder and Pops, Keith Davidson; Second Mother, Paige Griggs; Six Brothers, Kyle (Hannah) Sluder, Kain Sluder, Jaren Curtis, Jaxon Curtis, Mason Hampton, and Gavin Hampton; one sister, Carly Deboard; Aunts; Michelle Bowers, Sherry Tutton, Annah Hogan, Amber Sherbert, Shay Wright, Kim Sluder and Danny Willis; Special Cousin, Katie Bower; Grandparents, Grayland and Delilah "Dee" Boudreax, Steve and Martha Kitchens, Melvin and Glenda Davis; Grandfather, Terry Hogan; numerous friends, and James Sluder also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Fields officiating. Interment will follow in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will include: Kyle Sluder, Kain Sluder, Jaren Curtis, Thaddeus Bowers, Gabe Tutton, Lexie Reid, Chikoa Ramey, and Billy Davis.
