Capt. William F. Guy

William Frederick Guy passed away peacefully on June 23, 2022, in Houston, Texas, with his wife by his side. He was one of a kind in his role as a caring husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He and his twin brother Michael were born on October 19, 1940, in New Carlisle, Ohio.

In retirement, he became a professional volunteer, dedicating his time to many community organizations. In 2011, Fred was recognized as Volunteer of the Year for St. Luke's Sugar Land Hospital. One of his proudest moments was when he was awarded one of the highest award for a civilian volunteer by the Civil Air Patrol in 2021.

Fred met the love of his life Sharon in 1968 and they celebrated 51 years of marriage. Along with his beautiful wife, Fred is survived by his son Jeff Wegman, daughter-in-law Joni, granddaughter Samantha, and grandson Jordan. Daughter Kimberly Anzaldua and son-in-law David, grandson Aidan. Daughter Lori Guy and son-in-law John Schilz. Sister Victoria Guy and sister Cherie Lehman. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Michael, his mother Mary Berniece Guy, and his father William Wayne Guy. He also leaves behind many family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
